This Is Not a ONE and DONE Bleaching Treatment
It is the process of significantly lightening the color of the skin around the anus, labia, upper inner thigh areas, areola and underarms or knees. This is typically done for cosmetic purposes. The desired results make the color of the area more uniform to blend with the surrounding area. Treatments are applied in our skincare suite by a Licensed esthetician. Every new Intimate area bleaching service at L' Marie comes with homecare as part of the initial price. The home care is to be applied as instructed to assist in maintaining color between professional visits. More and more women are inquiring about this service so you shouldn’t feel uneasy about looking for solutions to help bolster your confidence.
Our prices are PER SESSION and include a preconditioning treatment kit (included in the at-home bleaching cream). While improvement is typically seen in one session, packages are available and highly suggested. A series of 3-10 treatments depending on the pigment depth is the standard recommendation.
How many treatments will it take to lighten with our Intimate Area Bleaching system?
Each individual's pigment severity, desired outcome and skin type is different, therefore it will vary from person to person. Keep in mind that hyper pigmentation is one of the toughest skin conditions to reverse, so packages of three to ten treatments are highly recommended. The average person requires several treatments to attain a consistent color that conforms with the surrounding area. The treatment is not permanent and will require regular maintenance.​
What is the difference between bleaching and brightening intimate areas?
"Bleaching" is applied to the desired pigmented area(s), but NOT to the surrounding skin. the client will lighten by levels that they can easily recognize. How many levels of change that will be achieved varies from one individual to the next.
"Brightening" will give an overall radiance to the entire area. The area will appear to possess a lightness and brighter look to it.

Who should NOT receive this service?
If you have a history of diabetes, lupus, psoriasis, herpes or genital warts, you may not be a candidate for bleaching.
What should I expect at my Intimate Area Bleaching service and after?
You should arrive without any underwear and wearing a loose-fitting skirt or yoga style pants. The anal bleaching is performed in the comfort and privacy of a cozy spa room by a licensed esthetician. You will first clean the area and change into disposable underwear. Your skincare professional will apply the peel with the assistance of a fan(if needed) for your comfort. You can expect to feel a mild burning sensation, and will be given time to rest and heal before putting your loose-fitting clothing back on. You will be instructed not to rinse the area for at least six hours. It is also fine for you to go to sleep without underwear and wash the next day. You are not to have anal sex or swim for three days. You can expect the bleached area to peel 6-7 days after your in-office peel. It is important that you do not pick or pull at the flakes.

Other single areas requiring complete skin care and bleaching are: full buttocks, front or back of thighs, neck/nape, arms. Each of the areas is one area and requires separate payment.
